Terms of Use
Last updated: September 15, 2026
1. Status of this site
Whimbyte is an independent, editorial review page about free wolf games available on Google Play. It is operated by a private individual, Tahlia Briggs, based in Victoria, Australia, and is not a company or registered business entity.
2. No affiliation
Whimbyte is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Google, Google Play, or any of the game developers or publishers whose games are reviewed on this site (including AUT CLASH, AQM Gaming Studio, Gluten Free Games LLC, Jigsaw Puzzle On, Moonlight Game Studio .,JSC, or Puzzle Maniacs). All game names, icons and screenshots remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for editorial, identificatory purposes in the context of a review.
3. Use of this site
You may browse this site and read its content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of the site's original written content without permission. Screenshots and icons credited to third-party games remain the property of those third parties. You may link to any page on this site freely; we do not require permission for a plain hyperlink.
You agree not to use this site in a way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it — for example by attempting to scrape the entire catalogue programmatically at high volume, or by attempting to probe the site for vulnerabilities. As there is no login, no payment flow and no user-submitted content anywhere on this site, the practical scope of this clause is narrow, but it still applies.
4. No warranties
Reviews and scores on this site reflect one editor's opinion after hands-on play at the time of writing, and are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Games are updated by their developers on their own schedule and may differ from what is described here by the time you read a given review — each review states the Google Play "updated on" date it was checked against. We do not guarantee that any game reviewed here will remain available on Google Play, will continue to work as described, or will be free of charge indefinitely; those facts sit with each game's own developer, not with us.
5. Intellectual property
Original written content, layout and design on this site — reviews, comparisons, and editorial text — belong to Tahlia Briggs. Game titles, publisher names, icons and screenshots belong to their respective developers and are referenced under fair-use style editorial commentary, not claimed as our own. Nothing on this site should be read as granting you a licence to use any third-party developer's trademarks, icons or screenshots outside of viewing this page in a standard web browser.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Australian law, Tahlia Briggs is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, reliance on its content, or your decision to install or use any game reviewed here. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), which the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) oversees. Where a guarantee under the ACL cannot lawfully be excluded, nothing here is intended to exclude it.
7. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for your own use of this site and of any game you choose to install after reading a review here. We are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, your relationship with Google Play or with any game's developer, including billing, support, or account issues that may arise once you install a game.
8. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable under Australian law, the remaining parts continue to apply. An unenforceable clause is read down to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, rather than the whole document failing.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and any dispute arising from your use of this site is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
10. Resolving a complaint
If you have a concern about anything on this site, email hi@whimbyte.com first and describe the issue — most things (a factual error, an image rights concern) can be resolved directly and quickly this way before any formal step is needed. As this is a one-person project rather than a company with a formal disputes process, a direct email is genuinely the fastest route to a resolution.
11. Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice, make up the whole agreement between you and Tahlia Briggs regarding use of this site, and supersede any earlier understanding about it.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the last revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
